This is the best bakery ever! I absolutely adore the owners and their bake goods!

Best croissants in the Poconos, maybe the east coast.

The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. It was the right balance of moistness and cakiness with chunks of nuts inside. The vanilla cream cheese icing swirl was just the right sweet and creamy addition to the carrot cake. It was priced right at just $1 and made me wish I’d gotten a full dozen of them instead of just a single cupcake.

Excellent fresh bread, priced just right, be sure to arrive before they sell out. Very good service.

Possibly the best breads in all of NEPA!!! Once upon a time I thought Scranton had the best bakeries in the area. Quality foodstuffs are hard to come by in The Poconos, but this bakery really is outstanding. It has an almost storybook quality to it. Everything looks and smells delicious, yet not too polished - perfectly rustic, like if your grandma made it. Well, my grandma anyway.
Daily Bread loaves are definitely old-fashioned artisan breads. Their peasant bread is dark and nutty with a hint of sweetness. The Italian bread is very crusty outside and soft and chewy inside. I slather it with butter and make a meal of it! Great-grandma's white bread has an almost buttery taste. Sourdough, rye, honey wheat, kaiser rolls - you name it! I've tried them all and they're all terrific.
They also offer pastries, cakes, pies, cookies and prepared meals. I highly recommend the cream puffs. There's nothing like a freshly made cream puff when the chocolate is still hot. Grab a coffee and napkins and eat it in the car!

The Daily Bread bakeshop across the road from Callie's has delicious bread and rolls. I especially like their country loaf (or rustic loaf, I forget the exact name). I also like their cookie bars and coffee cake. If they have cream puffs, get some.
